2011 Canadian Wheelchair #Curling Championship: Wheelies 101

What's wheelchair curling all about? Watch and learn:

VANOC put out that super informative video for the 2010 Paralympic Games. Another informative video from the Canadian Curling Association is also worth watching.

Each team must have at least one woman on it. Sticks are used to throw, and there's no sweeping, but other than that, wheelchair curling pretty much follows the same rules as other curling.

Come out to watch the Canadian Wheelchair Curling Championship at Jasper Place Curling Club in Edmonton, Alberta. Tickets are $5 per draw/$10 per day. The event runs from March 21-27, with 2 draws a day. Here's the schedule:
