Today is Blog Action Day: "Blog Action Day is an annual event held every October 15 that unites the world’s bloggers in posting about the same issue on the same day with the aim of sparking discussion around an issue of global importance. Blog Action Day 2009 will be one of the largest-ever social change events on the web."
This year's theme is climate change.
What, you don't believe in climate change?
Pay attention. Less than a month ago it was over 30degrees in Edmonton. Right now it's -5 and there's an inch of snow on the ground. The trees have only just started turning colour, and many are still full of green leaves. The wild jack rabbits are still brown, their white winter coats haven't even started to come in yet. My corner of the world is not ready for winter.
Is this weird weather part of climate change? Does this mean global warming doesn't exist?
